Ranger Sue Speaking to Children at Marathon Library on June 20

Children are exploring all things science and conservation during Marathon Public Library’s 2017 “Build a Better World” summer reading program, which runs through August 12. Activities include presentations by local experts with the “Build a Better World” theme, story times, parties, giveaways, raffle ticket drawings, and more. At 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, we will be hosting Ranger Sue. Children ages 5-12 are invited to hear her thoughts on how to "Build a Better World." Please come!

The 2017 summer reading program is geared to remind young people of the pleasure of reading, keep their minds active, and help them enter school in the fall ready to learn and succeed. All programs are free of charge, and children of all abilities are welcome. For more information, call Melody Dodamead at 305-743-5156.

The Marathon Public Library is located at 3251 Overseas Highway, oceanside, Marathon.
