27th Annual Lighted Boat Parade: Schooner Wharf Bar & Galley POSTPONED

Updateon our 27th Annual Schooner Wharf Bar/Absolut Vodka Lighted Boat Parade:

We appreciate you getting the word out to everyone and we're looking forward to a beautiful Parade

Due to inclement weather and heavy winds with strong gusts forecast Saturday (12/9)The Lighted Boat Parade is rescheduled for Friday, December 15th at 8:00 p.m. Friday’s weather is forecast to be just right for a Key West Wonderland Parade with light winds and fair skies!

On Friday, festivities will start at 6:00 p.m. with the children of the Gerald Adams Elementary Steel Your Heart Band and House of Pan Steel Drum Band of Bahama Village are starting the evening’s magic! Then the Parade starts at 8:00 p.m. Vessels of all shapes and sizes will dazzle the crowd. The judging stand is at Schooner Wharf Bar and is the best place for viewing! 

Come early to get an up-close look at all of the beautiful vessels and take a stroll along the Harbor Walk of Lights. See you on Friday, December 15! We're looking forward to a beautiful Parade!

Holiday Helpers’ Key Largo Lighted Bike Ride: Starting at Key Largo Fisheries

As Monroe County’s economically challenged -- the essence of service, construction, tourism and water/based economy -- struggle to survive, sometimes juggling multiple jobs on weekends and late/night. 
The Lighted Bike Ride is just one of the avenues used to obtain the needed gifts for the Key Largo Holiday Helpers Toy store. 

The ride is a family event beginning:
6:00 - Check-in
6:00 - Helmet Fitting and meet with Santa
7:00 - The Ride Begins

Families and individuals with lighted and decorated bikes ride through the streets for the community to see.
Registration for the ride is one unwrapped toy for the Key Largo Holiday Helpers Toy Store.
Decorate your bike, dress up, and come out and enjoy. Don't forget your unwrapped toy.
