Short Story Writing Workshop
February 6, 2018
Details:

Published author and Key West Public Library staff member Edgardo Alvarado will be leading the Short Story Writing Workshop every Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Alvarado wrote the historical novel “The Funerals of Key West,” which was awarded a literary art grant from the Anne McKee Fund in 2014. Using a PowerPoint presentation, he will guide participants through the ins and outs of creating a short story, from inspiration to putting pen to paper. Each week, students will write and then discuss their work in class, with the goal being that everybody will finish the workshop with a short story of their own. All skill levels welcome!
