The Person
The Traditional Worship Director will be committed to a traditional worship style that is creative, visionary, flexible and diverse.

The Task

The Traditional Worship Director's responsibilities may but do not necessarily include such tasks as piano/organ accompaniment, adult/youth/children's choir director, instrumental director or vocalist.

The Traditional Worship Director will however have a significant understanding of
worship, music & liturgy in order to supervise and direct the ministry of the church in these areas.

Description:   Broadcasting on Marathon Florida TV is scheduled to launch this Fall, and we are already taping Shows.  Everything from Talk Shows to performances throughout the community, to game shows for money and prizes, to morning, afternoon, evening, and late night shows. 

When Marathon Florida TV starts broadcasting over the internet on MarathonFloridaTV.com and throughout the Keys on Comcast Channel 88, our local community and those who wish they lived here will be tuning in for our daily news, weather, diving, and fishing reports or for one or more of our own locally produced TV Shows.

We need people who have been on TV before, either on camera, on stage, or behind the camera.  We need video camera operators whether they have their own equipment or not and we need hosts for shows whether they’ve hosted shows before, or feel like they would be great hosts.

CRANE POINT MUSEUM  LOOKING FOR TROLLEY DRIVERS 
Crane Point Museum and Nature Center, located at mile marker 50 in Marathon, is looking for volunteers.  This is a great opportunity to give back to your community and have some fun at the same time.  Crane Point is an ecological park and museum of natural history, located in the heart of the Florida Keys; a place that will take you back in time to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the nature of the Florida Keys.   
We need volunteers to perform a variety of tasks including assisting with special events, fundraising, distributing flyers, landscaping, and specifically driving trolleys as a guide for small groups.  Trolley drivers are scheduled on a part-time, flexible schedule and allow one to work as much or as little as you like.  It’s a learning opportunity for the guide as well as the guests and a fun way to meet people from all over the world.

Dolphin Research Center currently has a full-time opening for a Physical Plant & Equipment Apprentice.  DRC is a not-for-profit education and research facility dedicated to teaching, learning and caring about marine mammals and the environment we share.
 
Position Responsibilities Include:
 
Major duties of this position in our Environmental Services Department may include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
Assist in construction projects
Attend to electrical, plumbing and automotive needs
Assist in the maintenance of DRC buildings, equipment, vehicles, and boats
Operate DRC equipment (e.g. radios, boats, generator, etc.)
Participate with in-water medical check-ups of DRC marine mammals
 
Qualifications
 
The successful candidate will be a responsible, organized, and motivated individual who demonstrates excellent “team player” skills. Must have general “handy-man” skills and be able to work outdoors in the Florida heat.  Must have a clean driving record.

Dolphin Research Center currently has a full-time opening for an Admissions and Enrollment Administrative Assistant for DRC’s College of Marine Mammal Professions (CMMP). DRC is a not-for-profit education and research facility dedicated to teaching, learning and caring about marine mammals and the environment we share. The College of Marine Mammal Professions is dedicated to preparing individuals for careers regarding marine mammals.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in recruiting and correspondence for the CMMP.
  • Admissions and enrollment for the CMMP.
  • Web page maintenance for the CMMP.
  • Evaluating applicants with regard to program requirements.
  • Maintaining student transcripts and records.
  • Maintaining enrollment and placement statistics.
  • Processing/coordinating scholarship and work study programs.
  • Inventory and ordering of CMMP equipment/supplies.
  • Assist with:
    • Budgeting
    • Licensing and accreditation process and administration
    • Scheduling
    • Cataloging academic materials
  • Assisting with student residence applications and facilities.

  • Back up to DRC’s Education Department program registration and correspondence.

  • Administrative experience and excellent computer skills are required.
  • Experience with MS SharePoint desired.
  • Previous experience working college registration, enrollment or administration a strong plus.

Position will be contingent upon candidate successfully completing required MaxKnowledge Inc. courses in college administration within the first month of hire.
